Weight limits on Carry-on Items
Dimension Limits
40cm in width, 20cm in height, and 55cm in depth including the handle and wheels or your overall baggage piece must be less than 115cm.
Carry-on Musical Instruments and Sports Equipment
The size of your carry-on musical instrument, if less than 115 cm you may carry it onboard for free. If it exceeds this limit, you will have to purchase an additional seat and accommodate that item.
You are also allowed to take sports equipment (Golf Clubs, Surfboards, Skies, and snowboard) along with you, but there are certain guidelines that you need to follow and also pay an overweight fee, oversize fee, and a handling fee.
Note: Economy class passengers are allowed to carry one additional item (laptop, briefcase, or a handbag) but it should not weigh more than 12 kg. Codeshare partners may have different policies for carry-on baggage.

Customers who have made reservations directly from the Korean Air ticketing office, Korean Air Service center (800-438-5000), or Korean Air website before a week or more before the first departure date of their itinerary are entitled to a refund for their ticket without any penalty if they cancel the reservation. They will also be refunded within 24 hours of the original purchase.
Changes in the flight ticket can be made through your travel agency or Korean airlines service centers. Although changes are allowed, a change fee may be applied according to the fare rules.
Additional Charges for International Tickets
A refund service charge is applicable to refund regardless of whether cancelation was made before the departure date. But the service charge will be exempted if the penalty applies.
