You can either report your lost baggage within 24 hours of the original arriving time of the flight or file a complaint at the Brussels Airlines desk before leaving the airport. On reporting, a unique reference number will be given to you so that you can easily trace your luggage.
If the baggage is missing for 5 days
If your baggage is missing for 5 days, then the airline will start with an extensive search procedure by taking the baggage contents into consideration. For this, you will have to complete the baggage inventory form and submit the same to the Central baggage Tracing Department through email.
If the baggage is missing for 21 Days
Your baggage will be declared as lost and you will become eligible for the compensation if your baggage is still not found even after 21 days. Use this form to request the claim and provide purchase receipts, invoices, and bank statements to mention the value of the baggage content.
