In case of any flight cancelations or delays of 30 minutes or more, Aeromexico provides:

  • Real-time flight status information via its website at www.aeromexico.com (Flight Status) and through its gate agents and flight crew.
  • Status about cancelations when the event is known at least three hours before the scheduled departure if you provide them with your contact number and e-mail address in your reservation.

Due to multiple levels of security at the airports, printing mobile boarding pass in advance saves a lot of time. When traveling with Aeromexico, you can get your boarding passes printed in three ways:

  1. Web Check-in

Do web check-in from anywhere using an internet connection to receive your boarding pass online.

  1. Mobile Check-in

Download the Aeromexico App on your mobile or tablet, do mobile check-in and have your boarding pass sent directly to your device. It is faster and easier.

  1. Check-in Kiosks

Head to the automated kiosks at the airport to get your boarding pass for your domestic or international flights.

Please make sure you adhere to the check-in timelines to avoid any hassles at the airport. For international flights, check-in at the kiosks is available between 24-48 hours before the scheduled departure and for flights within Mexico, it is available up to two hours before the flight departure.

Special Baggage Policy:

Aeromexico restricts you from carrying certain items onboard.

  • Human ashes can be transported in checked baggage or carry-on bag. Click here to get information on requirements if carrying human or animal ashes onboard.
  • Carrying electronic cigarettes, cigars or pipes is prohibited on board aircraft at all times. It is suggested to pack them in your carry-on bag to avoid damage and/or accidental activation.
  • Recharging devices and/or batteries are not allowed on the aircraft.
  • Each passenger is allowed to carry one musical instrument on board as a "carry-on" item, provided it does not exceed the maximum linear surface area (length + width + height) 45 inches. It is subject to space restrictions. You can substitute, at no additional fee, one musical instrument instead of 1 carry-on or checked bag, so long as they do not exceed dimensions established.
  • If carrying sporting goods such as bike and equipment for surfing, scuba diving, hunting, etc., there is a fee that you will need to pay based on your domestic or international route. Know about the fare in detail by clicking here.

As per the cancelation policy of the airline, you can cancel your scheduled Aeromexico flight. However, any cancelation is subject to the fare rules and terms and conditions applicable when you book a flight or buy a ticket. On all Aeromexico flights departing to or from the United States, you are allowed 24 hours to decide whether you want to keep your reservation or make changes to your flight. This rule is applicable only when your original reservation is made one week or more before the flight’s scheduled departure date. Please note any changes or cancelations may incur additional costs including taxes, penalties, etc.

You can cancel your reservation or flight tickets with Aeromexico in the following ways:

  • Visit the official website of Aeromexico
  • Sign in to your account by entering the details-reservation or ticket number and last name
  • Find your reservation
  • Select the ‘Cancel Flight’ option to cancel your booking

If you are unable to cancel your flight, please call the Call Center of Aeromexico.

Once you have purchased a ticket from the Aeromexico website, you can make changes to or cancel your booking.

Yes, the tickets are refundable. Aeromexico’s Refund Department will process an eligible refund to the original form of payment within 7 days for all credit/debit cards and within 20 days in case of any other payment mode. This is applicable from the date of receiving the refund request. But it may take several business days to post the credit into your account depending on your card-issuing bank. You will be able to see the refund on your statement based on your billing cycle.

Please note that any requests for refunds may be submitted to any Aeromexico ticketing location or your travel agent.

Yes, you can easily check-in to your Aeromexico flights online. All you need is a smooth internet connection. You can do online/web check-in either on the official website of Aeromexico or by installing its app on your smartphone. You will receive your boarding pass online and will help you save time at the airport.

For flights within Mexico, web check-in is available up to 48 hours before the departure. And for international destinations, it is available up to 24 hours prior to departure.

If you are checking your bags, then it is advised to check in at least 90 minutes before your flight's scheduled departure time. And if you are not checking any bags, then you must check in at least 60 minutes before your flight's scheduled departure time.

The Aeromexico Vacations product is not available anymore (effective October 1, 2017.)

Yes, Aeromexico does have an app which lets you manage every aspect of your trip and makes your travel so much easier. Integrated with new features, this app can be used to access your flight bookings, do online check-in, select your preferred seat, add baggage, make changes to your flight or seats and everything related to your trip.

Managing bookings with Aeromexico is very simple. Just visit the ‘Manage your trips’ section on the airline’s website, sign-in to your account to access, view, change, modify, and cancel your flight bookings.

You can either log in with your Club Premier account number and password or enter your reservation number with the last name to view the bookings.

Aeromexico’s Clase Premier Business Class is all about more space and legroom, widest seats, premium dining experience, and other exclusive onboard facilities. If you want to book a seat in the Business Class, you can do it in two ways. 

Visit the official website of Aeromexico, go to Book Flights option, fill in the details to find the available flights for your destination, and choose Clase Premier when booking your flight.

Another way is to upgrade to Business Class by choosing the option ‘Upgrade’ and filling out a form on the Aeromexico website to submit a bid.

Aeromexico allows you to travel with your pets on the flight with a duration of six hours or less. However, there are some restrictions related to the transportation of your pet.

  • Up to six pets are allowed onboard, depending on the aircraft.
  • Only one pet in-cabin allowed per passenger.
  • Pets must remain inside their carrier aboard and in Salon Premier.
  • Pet hygiene must be taken care. In case of unacceptable levels of cleanliness, they may be refused onboarding.
  • For pets traveling inside the cabin, there is a fee involved which is based on domestic and international destinations.

Aeromexico’s unaccompanied minor service is only available on Aeromexico Group flights, (direct and connecting). All minors traveling unaccompanied must present the respective form identifying them as such.

According to the new policies of an unaccompanied minor, children must be between the age of 5 and 14. Those aged under 5 will not be allowed to travel with the airline. Also, this service is not mandatory for children aged 15 years or older.
